A hazard, is anything with the potential to cause harm (fire, manual handling, slips trips and falls etc.) Employers, managers and supervisors should all ensure that workplace practices reflect the Risk Assessments and Safety Statement. It is a requirement to implement any improvements considered necessary by the risk assessment. The aim is to ensure that no one gets hurt or becomes ill.
